RB Education Consultants are a new consultancy primarily specialising in the arts in education across all phases in the South East of England. Our expertise encompasses Foundation and Primary, Secondary, Post 16 phases and the support of Special Schools.

Our principal education consultants Ivor Rushforth and Derek Blease have lengthy experience in School Improvement in the Visual Arts and Music, gained as Advisers and Inspectors for the Kent Local Education Authority. In addition to their subject expertise they have worked extensively with schools in support of Leadership and Management and are active Ofsted Accredited Inspectors for Primary, Secondary and Post 16 inspections.

Ivor and Derek are highly skilled and effective trainers in both individualised professional development contexts, whole school staff training sessions and in leading County wide courses.

As leading Arts Education Consultants we aim to support schools and other organisations in raising standards in teaching and learning, subject leadership and middle management skills, project management including partnerships with cultural organisations, professional practitioners and Specialist School and Artsmark applications. We have worked with national organisations in the arts and have promoted partnership projects using digital technology with schools and other organisations in the U.K. and abroad. In consultancy we offer tailored services to meet individual requirements by negotiation.
